Edit to add: I was just re-examined by my new provider and told I have absolutely zero cavities, when the student dentist at Whitefoord claimed I had several that needed fillings. Imagine if I had stayed with Whitefoord—they’d be putting in fillings where there was nothing to fill! Do yourself a favor and a find a new provider. If I could leave no stars, I would. The lack of professionalism here is astounding. I had a cleaning scheduled that got canceled while I was sitting in the waiting room, and then my rescheduled cleaning got canceled literally while I was walking up to the office door. I also got a “referral” from this office for an oral surgeon that ended up being out of network, so wasted time going to that office and being examined only to be told I couldn’t actually have any services completed there—why would you refer a patient to an out of network office? Then, when I switched dentists, I had a new patient appointment where they told me I would need to request my x-ray results be sent over from Whitefoord because insurance won’t pay for it twice in one year, and I called them four times and waited on hold for minutes with no answer or call back. Everything was fine with my visit, but since then I have been billed monthly for services not rendered. I paid for everything up front and certain testing they offer for free, which I received as well. Fraudulent billing practices; beware! Additionally, some of my medical information (vitals) were entered incorrectly on their portal, and my emergency contact number was likewise entered incorrectly. Be careful of this institution. You get what you pay for, and then they’ll apparently bill you for even more.

I’ve had a decent experience at Whitefoord Health Center overall. It’s a really important clinic for the community, especially since they offer affordable care and accept different types of insurance, including Medicaid and sliding scale options. The staff is generally kind and professional, and you can tell they genuinely care about helping patients. They offer a wide range of services too from primary care and pediatrics to women’s health and behavioral health which makes it convenient to get multiple needs handled in one place. The downside is that wait times can sometimes be longer than expected, especially during busy hours, and communication can be a little slow when trying to reach someone by phone. Overall, it’s a solid community health center that provides essential care. It may not be perfect, but it’s reliable and gets the job done. I’d give it about a 4 out of 5.

Would get it negative stars I could. They have asolutely the worst communication since MedCura Health, Inc and Whitefoord, Inc. merged. They do not respond to fax medical request, never answers the phone, and they also don't return calls to providers needing updated prescriptions. I told them I was not using their dentist anymore because 1 of them wanted to milk the insurance company and only did an X-ray but no cleaning for an existing patient, stating they can only do one service per visit. That was a flat out lie even for the type of medical facility they are. They also make appointments that patients did not request, this was after I told them we were going to another medical facility because I didn't believe the report, the billing practices, and extremely poor communication. I was a joyful supporter of Whitefoord, but now I will never refer anyone to them. The best thing Atlanta Public Schools did was remove this medical facility from within their schools. Communication is key to raising children so appointments want get crossed. Worst thing is they lost good doctors and now are losing customers that supported them. Kierra did an amazing job getting us in at the last minute, rescheduling us and being very flexible. Five stars. I had an excellent experience during my visit! Kierra was incredibly professional, friendly. made sure I was comfortable the entire time and explained everything clearly. My teeth have never felt better! Thank you, Kierra, for the amazing care — highly recommend!
